Showing three dimensional space on a flat surface is a great challenge. Since the Italian Renaissance artists have used a series of rules to create the illusion of depth on a flat surface that is called perspective. Ever since the cubist works drawn by Picasso, artists have agreed that is it not necessary to follow rules. It has never been important in primitive art. Perspective is useful to understand because it teaches the ability to draw spaces from imagination or imagery formed by your thoughts and memories.

Our brains have an innate ability to express emotion through facial expression. The eyes can never lie because the muscles around our eyes tell if a smile is genuine.

MIND-BODY
The moment to moment effort of meditation helps you slow down so you can take in each sensation or thought as it comes. If you find strong messages, it’s because emotions have important implications for why perceptions and thoughts are altered. Emotions control everything that governs psychological well-being. It is often very difficult to restore balance.

MEDITATION
Honor yourself. Free your spirit to connect first within yourself to create a sense of awareness and then, extend that sense of awareness to external forms as you invite aspects of compassion into your life. Invite gratitude to fill your heart. Use meditation techniques to access the wisdom of intuition and all your other faculties for reflection, reasoning, and planning.
